to Models & Music
What are we:
Models & Music has been designed as a unique approach to a traditional photography portfolio website. Most websites are cookie cutter and often become very stale with the only changes being an occasional portfolio update. I thought I would take a different approach to this challenging industry.
Each "issue" of M&M will be updated every 30 days and will highlight a new feature model, industry tips and stories, up and coming local musical artists as well as some of the biggest names in the music industry.
As a photographer, I have over 13 years of experience in the fashion, swimwear and fitness modeling industries and have shot for such companies as ROCKSTAR Energy Drink, Gold's Gym, Powerhouse Gym, Look Swimwear, BM Swimwear, DNC Nutrition, etc.
Also, I am a media credentialed photographers and have fairly routine access to all local venues including Ruth Eckerd Hall , St. Pete Times Forum , Ford Amphitheater, the State Theater , Busch Gardens , etc. and provide my new site with some of the best music related photos available today. Each month I will feature a new major act as well as a new local act to bring attention to Tampa's relatively unknown music scene.
I am confident that you will enjoy what I provide to you. Who doesn't enjoy beautiful women and great music! The best part is, it's all FREE! A good friend of mine once said..."It's all about the free baby!" (You know who you are, Mike)

Gina is one of my favorite models I have ever worked. Not only is she simply gorgeous, she is also professional, fun and just a total sweetheart. As a model, Gina has won the International Hawaiian Tropic contest , she has shot for Look Swimwear (pictured left), was selected as an Unrated Vixen and now appears as my first Cover/Feature girl. She is very versatile and can make anything look great!

act of the month
Black Eyed Peas
On February 10, 2010, the beautiful Fergie and her posse of bandmates, hit the stage in Tampa's St. Pete Times Forum. Emerging from within a huge cloud of arena smoke, each member rose from under the stage on specially hidden elevators creating the illusion they were appearing out of nowhere in cluds of smoke.
I arrived early and chose my spot as strategically as I could, in order to get the best shots possible. That task, however, was a little challenging considering there were about 30 other photographers in the house. From the first song to the last,
Fergie put on her typical high energy display complete with an awesome laser show, lights, smoke and unique Robot Dancers. You'll have to see the show to understand what is meant by the latter. With only a few empty seats spotted throughout the night, I can only assume that the show was close to a complete sellout. When a show sells out, it usually means one thing....a kick ass show!!
One thing is for sure, the next time these guys are in town, this photographer will be the first to submit his media request. Check out their tour dates by visiting their website at www.blackeyedpeas.com. If they come to your town, make sure you get to the show...it is worth every dime!

My Project(s)
In late 2009, I was contacted by DNC Nutrition of Tampa Bay to design
and provide all photography for their first fitness calendar. Expected to be
ready for Christmas 2010, the calendars will be available for purchase at
DNC on Gunn Highway, as well as many other distribution points in Tampa.
